Classes and Times
We offer instruction through 55 minute group classes (sometimes overrunning to 75+ minutes) and 55 minute private lessons. Private instruction reinforced with group classes is recommended to make the fastest progress but is not mandatory.

No partner is required, although couples are of course welcome. Both International (Ballroom/Latin) and American (Smooth/Rhythm) styles are taught covering the following dances:

Ballroom: Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz and Quickstep
Latin: Cha-Cha, Rumba, Samba, East Coast Swing/Jive, Paso Doble, Bolero, Mambo
Special: Argentine Tango, Salsa, Bachata, Merengue

Regular Group Classes running from September 2026
NEW! ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS PROGRAMME

Thursdays 6:25 for 6:30pm Maulden: 6 week programmes starting 10th September covering the basics of Waltz, Social Foxtrot, Cha Cha and Salsa, and ​ 5th November for Quickstep, Tango, Jive and Bachata at Maulden Village Hall. £60 per person for the programme, no partner required.

Adults ongoing Beginners/Improvers/Intermediate group classes at £10 per person (first taster class is discounted 50% to £5) are currently scheduled as follows:

Mondays 6:55 for 7:05pm Lidlington: American Smooth/Rhythm International Ballroom/Latin Beginners/Improvers at Lidlington Village Hall.

Wednesdays 7:10 for 7:15pm Flitton: Medal Exam classes and Street Latin at Flitton and Greenfield Village Hall.
​
Thursdays 7:25 for 7:30pm Maulden: American Smooth/Rhythm International Ballroom/Latin Beginners/Improvers at Maulden Village Hall.

Thursdays 8:35 for 8:45pm Maulden: American Smooth/Rhythm International Ballroom/Latin Improvers/Intermediate at Maulden Village Hall. This class doesn't run on the last Thursday of the month and is replaced by a Practice Class at Parkside Hall Ampthill.

If not specified, Sequence Dances, Argentine Tango and Salsa etc. are incorporated in to the classes. Please check back or contact us for the latest availability and to register your interest.
Private Lessons
55 minute Private Lessons for couples or individuals, starting at £60 are available at all levels and are by arrangement. The fee is per lesson not per person. To make lessons more cost effective, they can be shared between up to a maximum of 2 couples provided all parties have the same goals and are happy to learn the same dances.

Generally they are held on Thursday late afternoon or Sunday afternoon/evening in Bedfordshire (Silsoe, Flitton, Maulden, Lidlington), however other days/times may be possible by mutual agreement.
​
Private lessons are tailored to you. Just want to be confident to dance socially? No problem. Want to be a bit more serious and work towards medals? No problem. Want to have a "Strictly Experience" and perform or prepare for competition? Again no problem.
​
We operate a loyalty scheme for private lessons with a free lesson after a block of ten which is equivalent to a 10% discount.
