Classes and Times

We offer instruction through 55 minute group classes (sometimes overrunning to 75 minutes) and 55 minute private lessons.  Private instruction reinforced with group classes is recommended to make the fastest progress but is not mandatory.

​

No partner is required, although couples are of course welcome.  Both International and American Smooth styles are taught covering the following dances:

​

Ballroom: Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz and Quickstep

Latin: Cha-Cha, Rumba, Samba, Swing/Jive, Paso Doble, Bolero, Mambo

Special: Argentine Tango, Salsa, Bachata, Merengue

Group Classes  running from January 2025

Adults Beginners/Improvers/Intermediate group classes at £10 per person (first taster class is discounted 50% to £5) are currently scheduled as follows:

​

Mondays 6:45 for 6:55pm  Lidlington:  American Smooth/Rhythm International Ballroom/Latin Complete Beginners/Beginners/Improvers at Lidlington Village Hall.

Thursdays 6:45 for 6:55pm  Maulden:  American Smooth/Rhythm International Ballroom/Latin Complete Beginners/Beginners/Improvers at Maulden Village Hall.

Thursdays 8:20 for 8:30pm  Ampthill:  American Smooth/Rhythm International Ballroom/Latin Improvers/Intermediate at Parkside Community Centre, Ampthill. 

​​

If not specified, Argentine Tango and Salsa are incorporated in to the classes.  Other classes are planned. Please check back or contact us for the latest availability and to register your interest.

We also operate a coffee shop type loyalty scheme. Attend 10 classes get the 11th free!

Private Lessons

55 minute Private Lessons for couples or individuals, starting at £60 are available at all levels and are by arrangement.  The fee is per lesson not per person.  To make lessons more cost effective, they can be shared between up to a maximum of 2 couples provided all parties have the same goals and are happy to learn the same dances.

​

Generally they are held on Thursday late afternoon or Sunday afternoon/evening in Bedfordshire (Ampthill, Silsoe, Flitton, Maulden, Flitwick, Lidlington), however other days/times may be possible by mutual agreement.

​

Private lessons are tailored to you.  Just want to be confident to dance socially?  No problem.  Want to be a bit more serious and work towards medals?  No problem.  Want to have a "Strictly Experience" and perform or prepare for competition?  Again no problem. 

​

We operate a loyalty scheme for private lessons with a free lesson after a block of ten which is equivalent to a 10% discount.
